It was a great sale despite the weather (it started to rain about half-way through) and it being Mother's Day weekend. Lots of great items were donated to be sold and all the proceeds came right back to Gracie's Gowns.
Can you see the counter on the poster board? It is shaped like a gown and Nina even drew the little froggie on it too! I should have asked her to cut it out for me! It is so cute and such a fun way to track the amount of money raised!

Lots of great clothes - seriously I mean some great clothes that could have been taken to consignment shops/sales or sold elsewhere for much more, were donated for this sale! I don't even know who all donated items, but they were some amazing people!

And this wasn't even all of the items that were there. I took these pictures early on and there were several more boxes and tables and even plastic tarps on the ground with items on them for the yard sale!

They were fantastic and really put every ounce of effort they had the two days before the sale collecting and sorting out the donated items, pricing and getting it all set-up the day of as well and then sticking it out through the rain and really trying to make it happen.
We couldn't have asked for a more supportive group of women to help us raise money to send out gowns to all the little ones waiting for their gowns and the ones that are waiting on our list right now as well. Without the MOMS Club of Louisa's help, it really wouldn't have been possible right now.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped out, shopped and just helped spread the word about the yard sale - we are so blessed, so humbled and so honored by your love, support and generosity! Once again when we've needed help, a way was provided and always where it was least expected too! Thanks to Melissa running the ad in the newspaper we were contacted by The Central Virginian to have an article published about us - which turned out beautifully too!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
Gracie's Gowns
